Thank you Elijah Woods

I saw Tokyo Police Club almost two weeks ago. This post is way belated but between moving up/Vegas/house cleaning/ school Ive neglected my dear blog. Anyhow this is a video taken by my sister that night. It has a collection of songs from that night. This show really made me appreciate "Favourite Food" by Tokyo. When performed live it was so so beautiful. Until recently I haven't given their third album, "Champ" much love. If those out there haven't either then I definitely recommend it. Champ is a real work of art. GO LISTEN TO IT NOW!

p.s. Dave Monks still smells good

In other music news I had the pleasure of watching Wavves for free at Amoeba records that following week.

Now Wavves has a reputation for performing, in no other words, while being completely fucked up. I heard from a few friends that their performance can be usually disappointing but hey it was a free show and I love Wavves.

After arriving way to early, having awkward conversation with kids from school, and having a far too long conversation about the Elephant Six crew with a man who looked like my dad, Wavves finally went on.

I must say I loved it. They were tight in their performance and had the most epic outro known to man. Wavves did not disappoint in the least. Not to mention the Bassists' hair was completely mesmerizing while he did his thang on stage.

If you haven't heard of them, PLEASE check them out -> HERE
